OGEM-VAK
Foundation for Supporting Forestry Development and Forest Fire Fighting Services
Our foundation officially entered into force on November 29, 1996. Since its inception, it has conducted various educational activities, forestry development and forest fire prevention efforts. It has consistently supported the personnel of the General Directorate of Forestry through Social Solidarity and Accident Funds. Our foundation also conducts a scholarship program for successful higher education students in need of financial support.
Mission
Our mission is to ensure the protection and improvement of forests by considering the principle of sustainability for current and future generations to live in a healthy and clean environment. We support the creation of resilient forests in cooperation with institutions and individuals by carrying out studies to take preventive measures against forest fires.
Vision
Our vision is to raise public awareness that appreciates and respects the social, economic, and environmental benefits that forests provide to our society, nation, and the world.
